Pipefitter Journeyman

Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in the construction industry. In this role, you will install, fabricate, and maintain HVAC/R piping systems for commercial and industrial clients, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant operation. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and P&IDs, performing brazing and welding, supporting equipment start-up, and troubleshooting piping issues. You'll work on dynamic, client-focused projects, leveraging innovative, energy-efficient technology in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture focused on safety and performance excellence.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain HVAC/R piping for commercial and industrial systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and P&IDs for accurate pipe layout
• Perform brazing, welding, and pipe fitting to company and code standards
• Assist with start-up, commissioning, and testing of HVAC/R systems
• Troubleshoot piping-related issues to improve system performance and efficiency
• Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to complete projects on time
• Document work performed and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors
