Average of $500+ per month in additional bonus compensation based on performance
Bonus compensation is not guaranteed and is based on applicable bonus plan requirements and billable hours.
What you’ll do Diagnose and repair commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface-prep equipment
Work on: 2, 3 & 4 cylinder gas engines; truck-mounted carpet cleaning units; portable carpet extractors; hard-surface floor machines; duct cleaning and deodorizing tools; dehumidifiers; air scrubbers; air movers; HEPA vacuums
Apply testing equipment, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer repair manuals to ensure accurate fixes
Identify additional service needs and communicate them clearly to customers and the service department
Hit quality and productivity goals consistently
Create service orders and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Schedule and manage appointments using scheduling software
Interact with customers in person, by phone, and via email
Build bids and present repair/service estimates
Order parts, work with vendors, and coordinate workload with other technicians
Use and maintain shop equipment and tools properly
Collaborate with store employees to coordinate service work
What you bring2+ years’ experience in one or more: commercial cleaning/restoration equipment; small engine repair/maintenance; pressure washer repair/maintenance; vehicle repair/maintenance
Valid driver license; clean MVR with no DUIs or Careless/Reckless driving within 3 years
High school diploma or equivalent
Personal basic set of mechanic’s tools
High mechanical aptitude, strong technical skills, and attention to detail
Fast, accurate diagnostics and problem-solving
Safety mindset—use of safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPEAbility to stay focused and deliver quality work on schedule
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
Professional presence, solid written and verbal communication, and basic computer skills
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus
