About the Role
A Senior Software Test Engineer will work independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects across multiple infrastructure components or applications. The role supports development testing of legacy and new applications or infrastructure solutions to solve business problems and improve software quality.
Responsibilities- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement tests for target systems using agile methods.
- Review client requirements with a team to build, test, and deploy solutions.
- Write automated test code for new applications and generate/enhance code samples for existing ones.
- Utilize automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
- Implement best practices and continuously improve existing testing processes.
- Mentor other QA team members and elevate quality standards with software engineers.
- Decision making and critical thinking skills, capable of accurately analyzing situations and making productive decisions.
- Effective communication skills to transmit, receive, and interpret information accurately.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and ability to use a structured methodology for delivery.
- Technical knowledge of software products, able to design, configure, and integrate them.
- Experience in software product testing, including planning and executing testing strategies.
- Knowledge of system and software testing to ensure quality at all stages of the life cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software test engineering (8 years if no degree).
- Strong proficiency in Cypress, Playwright, and/or Type Script.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring teams on quality best practices.
- Location:
Virginia Beach, VA. - Up to 10% travel required (international).

Summary pay range: $ - $. Compensation and benefits may vary based on multiple factors. Salary is one component of total compensation.
