The ideal candidate will independently execute software design and development tasks, lead and collaborate as part of an agile team, and write performant code consistent with team style and best practices. They will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop requirements, stay current with industry trends and practices, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibility includes designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, integrating, and implementing systems in support of the warfighter. Tasks involve developing application software, debugging and testing code, coordinating with the team, constructing test cases, assisting with documentation, learning new tools, and complying with hardware and software standards and procedures. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

• Develop REST API backends using ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET Core (C#)
• Develop in Microsoft ASP.NET (C#)
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational software

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of job‑related experience
• Minimum 2 years developing REST API backends with ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core (C#)
• Minimum 3 years developing in Microsoft ASP.NET (C#)

• Experience with distributed version control (e.g., GIT)
• Client‑side development using JavaScript or Type Script
• Front‑end frameworks such as Vue.js
• Back‑end development in multi‑tier applications using C#, T‑SQL, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework
• Unit testing (MSTest, xUnit, nUnit)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Agile teams (scrum)
• Agile and Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  practices: CI/CD, TDD

• Security+ CE certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Agile methodologies and tools
• Dev Ops practices and tools
• Experience with DoD software development processes
