SummaryWR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of design decisions.
Position ResponsibilitiesWill include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, interfaces with other systems, internal and external controls, and system outputs.
- Analyze and estimate the feasibility, cost, schedule, and hardware/software compatibility of proposed solutions.
- Develop software applications using one or more programming languages in Unix, Windows, Linux, and/or MS-DOS environments.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
- One year of professional software development experience using one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic, SQL, ORM technologies, containerization technologies, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with technologies such as C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Python, RHEL, SQL Alchemy, PostgreSQL, Docker, or similar development tools and frameworks.
- Two years of full-time professional experience supporting networked computer systems, system administration, or cybersecurity.
- Experience working with Department of Defense Information Assurance (IA) standards, policies, procedures, and security requirements.
- Working knowledge of DoD IAT Level I and/or IAT Level II requirements.

$63,000 - $91,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
