Transportation Equipment/Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator

As a TAG Transportation Equipment/Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring the dispatch, return, and maintenance schedules of all vehicles and equipment assigned to the Logistics Support Unit and for scheduling Commercial Line-Hauls (TAC code) when Military assets are unavailable.

* This position is contingent on contract award *

• Must possess a SECRET security clearance.

• Schedules and dispatches "C" Pool Civil Engineering Support Equipment and Material Handling Equipment for short‑term loans to NSW East Coast commands.
• Re‑issues “B” assigned CESE and MHE for re‑occurring loans.
• Tracks CESE and MHE for late returns and notifies customers of status.
• Maintains a key locker with all keys assigned to the motor pool.
• Monitors the Preventative Maintenance schedule and notifies customers in advance of maintenance requirements.
• Maintains equipment status board to accurately display equipment readiness.
• Receives emergency break‑down notifications and relays information to chain of command for action.
• Submits TAC codes for commercial Line‑Hauls utilizing the Global Freight Management (GFM) system.

• Minimum of one year dispatch operations experience.
• Experience/knowledge with Fleet Focus Vehicle Fleet Management (FF) system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to enter data into multiple databases accurately.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
