As a Motor Transport Operator, you'll play an important part of the Army's transportation logistics team. You'll supervise and operate wheeled vehicles over all types of terrain to safely transport cargo, troops, and provide advanced mobility on all missions. You'll manage loading, unloading, and report any vehicle problems or damage.

Skills you'll learn align with Vehicle Operations, Loading & Unloading and Map Reading. In addition, you could earn 16 nationally recognized certifications!

Job Duties

• Transportation of cargo and personnel to strategic locations

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 6 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• 17 to 34 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns

We are looking for an experienced First Seat Driver to join our dedicated dry van fleet in Chesapeake, VA. If you re a pro at handling high-touch freight and want a consistent, high-paying route, this is the spot for you.

The Perks:

• Weekly Pay:
  Average $1,800+ per week.
• Performance Bonus:
  Earn an extra $100.00/week for completing 5 loads safely (no accidents, incidents, or HOS violations).
• Short Haul Pay: $40 for loads under 51 miles.
• Stop Pay: $20.00 per stop (Live Unload).
• Daily Minimum:
  Guaranteed $240.00/day.
• Full benefits at 30 days including 401k

The Route & Equipment:

• Operating Area:
  Dedicated routes out of Chesapeake, VA
• Schedule:
  
  Weekend work required; shifts include both Day and Night driving.
• Home Time:
  Consistent lanes with approximately 1,000 miles per week.
• Equipment:
  Dry Van utilizing Rollers, Racks, and Load Bars.
• Freight:
  Occasional floor loading and roller delivery required.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  
  Must be a First Seat (Experienced) Class A Driver with at least 6 months recent OTR experience.
• Skillset:
  Comfortable with manual unloading/roller systems. 100 % touch freight.
• Reliability:
  Must be available for 5 loads per week to maintain bonus eligibility.
• Must be able to pass all background checks and test to include hair or urine.
