The City of Virginia Beach Public Works Department is hiring for a Motor Equipment Operator II to perform maintenance tasks across Beach Operations, operating equipment such as tractors, beach groomers, loaders, and trucks along the boardwalk and beaches. This role requires a high school completion with two years’ equipment operation experience and a valid CDL.
Work hours 5:30 am to 2:00 pm in off-season, and seven days a week from April to November, with potential overtime for weather events.
