Ready Mix Truck Driver
Drive trucks equipped with concrete mixer to transport and dump concrete.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
Pull or push levers to turn mixer drum and dump contents.
Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to aid in the placement of concrete.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines.
Use hand tools when necessary.
Oil, lubricate, and/or general maintenance of equipment may be required.
Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements and adhere to same.
Maintain daily log.
Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
Must possess a valid CDL, Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving.
Must possess a Real the purposes of accessing military bases
If you do not have a Real , you must be able to obtain one 30 days from date of hire.
Ability to do basic math.
High School Diploma / GED.
Job requires the following motions: climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, vibrating, and reaching.
Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Potential exposure to extremes of hot or cold weather.
Overtime work is required.
Physical strength must be enough to climb in and out of truck throughout the workday, carry chutes, and carry out tasks that may be assigned to you.
