Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.
We have an immediate direct hire opportunity for a Warehouseman I at our United States headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia
.
The Warehouseman I plays an important role in supporting daily warehouse and manufacturing operations through the safe and accurate movement of materials. This position is responsible for moving materials to and from stock locations, receiving and storing incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and performing cycle counts as needed.
Targeted Compensation: The targeted compensation range for this position is $17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
This is a full-time, fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, on day shift, with occasional travel for training.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure that the correct quantity and correct material are issued
- Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts
- Check incoming material in the computer system and store it in designated areas
- Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use
- Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors
- Maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, storage racks, computers, and pallet jacks, according to established guidelines
- High School Diploma or GED:
Required - 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment:
Required - Experience with inventory processes:
Preferred - Forklift experience (stand-up and/or sit-down):
Required - Experience using lifting-assist equipment, including cranes and hoists:

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word:
Required
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
- Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%) for training purposes
- Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
- Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, grasping, and material handling
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Regular use of hands for handling, grasping, and operating equipment
- Must be able to hear and respond to alarms, horns, and other safety notifications
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety footwear, hand protection, and hearing protection as needed
