The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia Beach, VA, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to support Sunsations’ multi-location retail network.
- This role coordinates shipping and receiving activities, manages inventory movement, and ensures accurate stocking, picking, and order fulfillment.
- The Warehouse Supervisor leads and schedules warehouse team members, provides training, promotes safe work practices, and monitors productivity to meet operational goals.
- Day-to-day tasks include organizing material handling workflows, supervising equipment use (including forklifts), maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with store and corporate teams to meet delivery timelines.
- This position also supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills (min 5 years), including team leadership, scheduling, training, and performance support.
- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, with experience in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments and verifying documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Material Handling and Inventory Control, including stock rotation, order picking, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Candidates should possess safe and reliable Forklift Operation skills, with the ability to operate warehouse equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Relevant qualifications include prior warehouse or distribution center experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of warehouse management systems, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required, follow safety procedures, and work on-site full time in Virginia Beach, VA.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is strongly beneficial.
