As the Accounting and Payroll Specialist, you will manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities to keep the business operating efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, monitoring cash flow, and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple business divisions.

You will assist with monthly financial reporting, support job-costing activities, coordinate financing documentation, prepare information for tax reporting, and help ensure that year-end financial records are complete and accurate. Working closely with company leadership, you will provide reliable financial information to support budgeting, operational planning, and informed business decisions, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in every aspect of your work.

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with at least five years of bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or related financial experience. Candidates should have strong Quick Books knowledge along with experience processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is important, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Candidates with accounting experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, home services, or other project-based industries are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with job costing, service industry accounting, or managing financial records for multiple business entities is considered a strong advantage.
