Valley Star Credit Union in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking an Accountant II Team Lead to assist the Accounting and Finance management team with day-to-day oversight of the accounting department. You will help ensure timely, accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting, maintain fixed assets and prepaid sub-ledgers, and review general ledgers for accuracy under the Accounting Manager.
You will also prepare for audits, support month-end close, and collaborate with other departments.
