Job Summary
The position is responsible for assisting the Principal by performing clerical and technical work involving the preparation and maintenance of fiscal and related documents for the school.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of successful experience in general office work.
- Any combination of education and experience, including coursework in business or mathematics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- General knowledge of clerical/accounting terminology, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to establish and follow detailed work procedures.
- Ability to post accounts with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations with speed and accuracy.
- Skill to use a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone;
physical agility to lift to 25 pounds; and to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and reach overhead.
Work Environment
Duties are normally performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
