This position utilizes a combination of technological, instructional, and secretarial skills necessary for the effective operation of the library media center. Responsibilities include the operation of the automated library system and circulation process, providing technical expertise for maintenance and minor equipment repairs, delivering instructional resource support to staff and students, and managing routine and critical secretarial and bookkeeping functions such as vendor interface, budget and inventory record maintenance, and general typing and word processing tasks.

This position performs work independently under the supervision of the school librarian.

• Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
• Performs operations of library media center including circulation process, automated library system, minor equipment repairs, instructional resource support, and bookkeeping functions.
• Interfaces with vendors, maintains budget and inventory records, and conducts general typing and word processing tasks.
• Performs work independently under the supervision of the school librarian.
