Pretrial/Probation Services Technician
Prince George County is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pretrial/Probation Services Technician. This position will be a Part-Time Regular position and will be responsible for providing data entry and clerical support to pretrial/probation staff, greeting visitors and assisting with matters relative to department programs and services.
Qualification RequirementsAbility to communicate ideas effectively both orally and in writing; ability to make decisions and interpretations in accordance with established rules, policies, and procedures; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with offenders, stakeholders, and the general public.
Special RequirementsAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. An associate's degree in business, criminal justice or social work, or a related field preferred. A minimum of two years of related clerical or office support experience and customer service and strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is highly desired.
