DNA Collection Substitute; Part-Time

Our company is looking to hire the right candidate join our team and serve as a substitute for the DNA collector for Montross, VA. The main role of the job will be providing DNA testing (buccal swab) for families for their pending child support cases. This is a perfect opportunity to earn extra income while providing a valuable service for families in the area.
PLEASE NOTE - This is position is only as needed and is an extremely part-time position.

Having a medical background is preferred but not required for this position. Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude. Applicants must also have reliable transportation to report to the site for each testing shift.

All new hires will be subject to a background check upon hire

• SUBSTITUTE SHIFT:
  Wednesday 7/22/2026 8:30am-1:30pm
• This position is for an AS-NEEDED/Substitute

All staff will receive complete online training andover-the-phone training, as well as supplies needed for the job.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform cheek swab specimen collections
• Take Photos and Ink prints of all clients
• Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
• Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled
• Make Fed Ex run to drop off samples collected for the day
• Keep track of supply inventory and order as needed
• Able to work with the public and be friendly and professional
