Automotive Assistant & Service Manager – Fredericksburg, VA
NTB proudly joins the Mavis Tire Family. We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Fredericksburg, VA area.
Assistant Manager ResponsibilitiesAs a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring the safety of team members.
ServiceManager Responsibilities
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, and staging vehicle repair/maintenance work. They drive sales initiatives of Mavis, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations.

QualificationsMinimum qualifications:
At least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
