NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire family. We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Manassas, VA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Our Automotive Mechanics handle undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s) preferred.
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.
• Physical requirements:
  
  stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements. Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
