Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leader in the construction and infrastructure industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 3 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 3, you will be part of the procurement department supporting construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to sourcing and supplier management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Specialist 3

Location: Clarksville, VA

Pay Range: $30/hr to $33/hr on W2

• Lead sourcing strategies within designated categories, engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Manage procurement processes, including supplier expediting, change order administration, and data management for construction projects.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and identify new potential partners.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and best practices, providing expert advice to business areas.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, managing risks effectively to ensure timely delivery of procurement activities.

• Experience in construction procurement or related fields, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in basic Windows software, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong business writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Understanding of procurement techniques, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
