Location: Dublin
Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. This part‑time internship will start in August 2026, run through December 2026, and will involve working up to 30 hours per week.
What You Will DoThe Intern role will provide students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a manufacturing environment and to support the graduate’s career goals through interaction with engineering professionals. Interns will:
- Develop data collection processes in the body, white and paint operations management team.
- Help optimize manufacturing practices.
- Learn and apply lean business management principles in the body, white and paint departments.
- Create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to communicate new project ideas and reports.
Students should be motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn on the job. They should:
- Have strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and creating graphs.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Possess a working knowledge of PowerBI (experience/knowledge is a plus).
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Pursuing a Business Management degree or an undergraduate degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
- Availability to work up to 30 hours per week during the fall term.
Hourly range: $17.00 – $46.00, determined by geographic location, academic classification, and field of study, with consideration for pay equity.
