Job DescriptionEmployment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Subject Matter Expert III provides expert advice and recommendations for programs, contracts, and/or topics. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Provides subject matter expertise for specific contracts and programs.
- Attends meetings and provides input associated with area of expertise.
- Participates in writing/formulating documents and evaluations/recommendations.
- Serves as an interagency liaison in area of expertise.
- May serve as a lead instructor for any classes associated with area of expertise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications – Here's What You Need
- Master of Arts or Science (MA/MS) degree in an associated discipline
- At least twenty (20) years of progressively advancing career experience.
- Twenty (20) years of experience in area of expertise.
- Instructor experience preferred
- Two (2) years as a Subject Matter Expert II preferred.
- Secret Clearnce is required.
- Due to the nature of work at the client's site, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

- Ability to analyze systems and procedures
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
