Duties
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the incumbent is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of electronic monitoring equipment used in the supervision of inmates placed on home confinement or alternative sentencing programs. The Specialist ensures compliance with program rules, provides technical support to staff and clients, and works collaboratively with law enforcement and case management teams. Other duties and functions will be assigned as deemed necessary.
Education and ExperienceAn Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in corrections, law enforcement, probation, or electronic monitoring. Working knowledge of GPS technology, electronic monitoring systems, and data entry.
Salary$55,894 – $82,100
