As an Inbound MICE Project Manager, you will play a key role in connecting global business communities with China’s local culture. Drawing on Wild China’s extensive destination expertise and exclusive local resources, you will create high-quality programs that bring together business insight, cultural depth, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Client Development and Business Engagement
  • Develop inbound MICE business opportunities with multinational corporations, overseas chambers of commerce, international institutions, and global business partners.
  • Independently engage with overseas decision-makers and senior stakeholders to understand their needs for executive visits, incentive travel, cross-border industry summits, executive learning programs, and business delegations to China.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with international clients and partners.
  • Take an active role in driving the growth of Wild China’s inbound corporate and MICE business.
  • Premium Inbound Product Design and Innovation
  • Develop differentiated inbound MICE products based on international clients’ business objectives, cultural expectations, and travel preferences.
  • Integrate China’s cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, wellness traditions, contemporary industries, private venues, and exclusive local resources into distinctive program concepts.
  • Create tailored proposals combining corporate and institutional visits, closed-door industry exchanges, deep cultural immersion, and high-end private experiences.
  • Balance commercial relevance with thoughtful cultural storytelling to create distinctive, competitive, and memorable programs.
  • End-to-End Project Management and Client Service
Pre-Program Planning
  • Develop comprehensive itineraries and program proposals based on client profile, travel objectives, seniority level, and group background.
  • Source and secure exclusive venues, industry experts, cultural practitioners, corporate and institutional visit opportunities, and other specialized resources.
  • Prepare budgets, negotiate proposals, and support contract finalization.
Program Delivery
  • Coordinate all China-based suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, guides, interpreters, activity partners, and event-production vendors.
  • Manage multilingual onsite reception and delivery.
  • Anticipate and handle the specific needs of international guests, including dietary requirements, cultural preferences, accessibility needs, and travel arrangements.
  • Ensure smooth, professional, and high-standard execution throughout the program.
Post-Program Improvement
  • Lead cross-cultural project reviews and collect feedback from international clients and internal teams.
  • Continuously improve program modules, service standards, and cultural experience design.
  • Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures for premium inbound guest service.
Industry Representation
  • Represent Wild China at international MICE, inbound travel, and tourism industry events where appropriate.
  • Share insights on China’s premium inbound business travel market, destination experience design, and evolving client needs.
  • Help strengthen Wild China’s reputation as a trusted expert in high-end inbound travel and MICE.
Partnership Ecosystem Development
  • Build long-term partnerships with domestic tourism and cultural institutions, industry parks, premium local suppliers, and overseas corporate travel channels.
  • Identify and develop exclusive experience resources.
  • Contribute to a sustainable and high-quality inbound MICE partnership ecosystem.
Requirements Cross-Cultural Communication and International Experience
  • Business-fluent English, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with overseas clients, senior executives, and international partners.
  • Additional foreign-language ability is an advantage.
  • Strong written and spoken Chinese, with polished and professional communication skills.
  • Overseas study or international work experience is strongly preferred.
