Trainee Quantity Surveyor

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team and support the delivery of our projects across the Yorkshire region.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across live construction sites while receiving structured training and support from experienced commercial professionals.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting in cost management and commercial reporting
• Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Supporting subcontractor procurement and package management
• Maintaining accurate cost records and documentation
• Attending site meetings and working closely with operational teams

You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of the commercial function, helping you build a strong foundation for a long‑term career in construction.

About You

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• A genuine interest in Quantity Surveying and construction
• Studying towards (or willing to study towards) a relevant qualification is desirable
