Location: Crewe
Carrington Dance Company is seeking an energetic, professional, and passionate dance instructor to join our growing team serving the Southside Virginia and greater Richmond area.
We are looking for someone who loves working with children and can create a positive, structured, and inspiring classroom environment for dancers ages 3 and up.
Preferred Experience- Ballet
- Tap
- Jazz
- Acro
- Hip Hop
- Creative Movement
- Preschool Dance Education
- Dance teaching and/or performance experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Dependable and professional
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset
- Comfortable teaching young children and beginner/intermediate dancers
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
- Current or former professional dancers
- College dance majors/minors
- Experienced studio instructors
- Dance team coaches/choreographers
- Performers seeking part‑time teaching opportunities
Competitive pay based on experience. Opportunities for choreography, private lessons, camps, master classes, and future growth within the company may also be available.
