Position Overview
Maya Productions is seeking nine Artist Trainees at an early stage in their careers to develop skills in delivering participatory arts projects that positively impact learning, health, and community wellbeing. Open to artists of all ages working in movement, dance, drama, theatre, or music (including interdisciplinary practice), the programme offers paid training, mentoring, and opportunities to co-deliver workshops. This initiative focuses on developing the career progression of artists from global majority backgrounds, particularly those local to South Yorkshire.
Trainees will gain practical experience in creative health and learning settings while receiving one-to-one guidance from experienced practitioners and industry professionals.

Salary: £75 per day (equivalent £20,000-£25,000 per annum pro-rated).
