Compassion Animal Hospital is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our 3-Doctor practice. This position may be full-time or part-time, with full-time typically working 35–40 hours per week.
Position SummaryOur Customer Service Representatives are the heartbeat of our hospital. They create a calm, welcoming experience for clients and pets while supporting a veterinary team that values professionalism, kindness, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do- Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
- Create a smooth, calm flow from check-in to checkout
- Answer phones confidently and help guide clients to the appropriate level of care
- Educate clients on preventative care, services, and products that support their pets’ health
- Schedule appointments thoughtfully to support both clients and medical team productivity
- Accurately document patient information in our practice software
- Process invoices, payments, and daily cash reconciliation with precision
- Dispense prescriptions and retail items per veterinarian instructions
- Handle client concerns with empathy, composure, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate closely with doctors and technicians to ensure clear communication and efficient care

Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Veterinary or medical experience is a plus
- Comfortable with computers and learning practice management software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent computer use
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted (50 lbs with assistance)
- Exposure to animals, pet dander, and cleaning agents
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
