We are seeking a skilled and caring dental assistant to join our dental team. The dental assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assistance:
  Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort
• Patient care:
  Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
• X-ray imaging:
  Capture dental x-rays, adhering to safety protocols
• Patient education:
  Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
• Records management:
  Accurately update patient records and dental charts in ehr systems
• Infection control:
  Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols
• Appointment scheduling:
  Help manage and confirm patient appointments
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support

Qualifications:

• Dental assistant certification
• X-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling
• Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and osha standards
• A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort
