Dental Hygienist

We are looking for Dental Hygienists to join our growing dental practices in Lansdowne and Culpeper, Virginia. In this role you will assist dentists with procedures and X‑ray operations.

• Use dental instruments to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
• Review and note patient medical histories.
• Use probes to examine periodontal status and locate gum disease.
• Record dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain dental equipment and X‑ray machines.
• Examine gums for disease, sores, or other health issues.
• Promote preventative dental care and improve patient oral health.
• Apply fluoride and other cavity‑prevention agents.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants.
• Maintain a dental hygiene program for patients.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current state hygiene license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
• Proficiency in using X‑ray machines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers for various tasks.
• Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.

Compensation: $75‑$80 per hour.
