Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Lead Dental Assistant to provide hands‑on patient care while leading and supporting our dental assisting team. In this role, you'll serve as a key member of our clinical leadership team, helping to coordinate daily operations, mentor staff, improve workflows, and ensure an exceptional experience for both patients and providers.

• Provide chairside assistance and support high‑quality patient care.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of dental assistants.
• Coordinate daily clinical workflows and staff assignments.
• Partner with providers and clinic leadership to improve efficiency and patient access.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development of clinical staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient‑focused culture.

• Certified Dental Assistant with x‑ray certification as required by Virginia regulations.
• Minimum of three years of dental assisting experience.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for teamwork, patient care, and helping others succeed.
