Lead Dental Assistant - Pediatric

End your workday by 4 pm or earlier every day! Looking for a Lead Dental Assistant to work with our Pediatric Dentist and assist our hygienists with our pediatric and special needs patients.

We seek a candidate with a great personality who loves working with children of all ages and needs, as well as their parents. The candidate must be a team player. Our practice is fast‑paced, with patients seen every half hour. They will support the dentist and the rest of the clinical staff and take the initiative when needed.

Responsibilities include seating patients, taking X‑rays, taking clinical notes, explaining treatment to parents, cleaning instruments, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be comfortable with digital imaging, digital charting, and using electronic medical or dental charting. They will lead management of office dental supplies and back‑office organization.

Hours:

Monday 7:30‑2, Tuesday and Thursday 7:30‑4, Wednesday 10‑4 and Friday 7:30‑2 (up to twice a month). Summer closing time is 3 pm.

• Must be able to pass a background check
• X‑ray Certification (willing to train)
• Intermediate computer skills
• Pediatric and special needs experience preferred

Pay is based on experience. Benefits are available if the candidate meets eligibility, including health benefits, PTO, retirement, and holiday pay.
