Pastry Cook

Falcons Landing is seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join our outstanding Kitchen department.

Falcons Landing is a Life Plan Retirement Community located west of Washington, DC in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia. We are a first-class Life Plan Community, privately held not-for-profit organization which provides an outstanding and caring work environment. Falcons Landing has a wonderful combination of residential homes, spacious apartments and three high class healthcare residences.

The Pastry Cook will produce pastries, desserts and baked goods as well as requisitioning bakery products, maintaining production sheets, maintaining an organized and productive space, adhering to Falcons Landing recipes, freshness and quality standards, aide in research and development of new product.

• A high degree of creativity, artistry, and innovation
• Possess excellent people skills, organized and high energy level
• Minimum of 2 years of baking experience
• Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field is a plus
• Knowledge in sanitation and food safety
• Self-starter and enthusiastic to work
• Availability to work flexible schedule
