About the Role: The Service Manager owns the customer front end for service, repair, and modification work. This role is responsible for meeting with customers, defining scope, and preparing accurate quotations. The Service Manager ensures customer requirements are clearly understood and properly transitioned into the organization for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary customer contact during the inquiry and quotation phase
  • Organize and lead customer meetings (on‑site or virtual)
  • Define customer requirements, scope of work, and service expectations
  • Prepare accurate quotations including labor, materials, and lead time assumptions

    Coordinate internally to validate scope and feasibility prior to quoting
  • Present and follow up on quotations with customers
  • Ensure awarded work is clearly handed off to Work Preparation
  • Maintain customer communication and documentation related to quoting
  • Support continuous improvement of the service intake and quoting process
  • Other duties as assigned

Who are you?

You are a customer‑focused professional with at least three years of experience in manufacturing, tooling, or industrial service environments. You have a strong understanding of machining and repair processes and are comfortable preparing or supporting accurate service quotations. You communicate clearly, stay well organized, and work effectively with both customers and internal teams.

  • 3+ years in a customer‑facing role within manufacturing, tooling, or industrial services
  • Strong understanding of machining, tooling, or repair environments
  • Experience preparing or supporting quotations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
