We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for a locum tenens opportunity in a great location in Virginia. OB/GYN (Board Certified or Board Eligible) EMR System: eCW (Electronic Health Record) Practice Type:
Outpatient OB/GYN clinic with call coverage and inpatient oversight/back-up Patient Care:
Duties include providing outpatient office visits, supporting midwives, and managing inpatient call coverage while overseeing practice midwives during the provider's absence. Call Coverage Details: 24-hour call coverage required, including hospital call and outpatient office duties. On-call responsibilities will be for the practice, including oversight of midwives, and hospital call during evening hours. On specific days, you will be required to handle both patient visits in the office (minimal number of visits) and hospital call.

Support Staff:
The practice is supported by 4 midwives and 1 Nurse Practitioner (NP), as well as experienced hospital and practice staff. The locum provider will work closely with the midwives and NP for any clinical support required during the assignment. Requirements:
Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN. Must have active state licensure and be available for the specified coverage dates. Must be comfortable working with a midwifery team and providing support during midwife call. Ideal Candidate:
Compassionate and dedicated to patient care. Experienced in handling both outpatient and inpatient OB/GYN care. Comfortable with call coverage and handling emergency cases as needed. Additional Information:
