Required Qualifications Board Certification :
Must be board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery Licensure :
Must hold an active Virginia medical license Experience :
Prior experience in general surgery, including adult and pediatric cases Skills and Procedures The ideal candidate should be proficient in the following:
Laparoscopic surgery Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, and Hernioplasty Trauma surgery Breast and head/neck surgeries Endoscopic procedures (Upper GI, Lower GI) Chest tube insertion and central line placement Minor orthopedic and vascular surgeries Additional Details Temporary Privileges Available :
Yes Trauma Level : 0 EMR Systems :
Athena and Meditech Support Staff :
Includes 34 RNs; no residents or teaching supervision required Response Time : 30 minutes for call-backs Travel and Logistics Travel Costs :
