About the Position
Description
An established cancer institute in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician beginning April 20 through the end of August. This role is primarily inpatient-based with some outpatient coverage during physician absences.
The provider will oversee a Nurse Practitioner, participate in call coverage, and assist with enrolling patients in research studies. Adult patient population. EPIC EMR system.

Deliver comprehensive inpatient hematology/oncology care
Manage adult oncology and hematology cases
Supervise NP
Provide call coverage
Support research study enrollment
Document in EPIC EMR
Qualifications
Board Certified – Hematology/Oncology
Active VA License
BLS Certification
Clean background required
Working Hours
Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call required
Full-time coverage April 20 – End of August
