As a General Radiologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting basic Interventional Radiology procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC Line preferred)
- Performing 3D mammography and holding Automated Breast Ultrasound certification
- Reading whole-body MRI with confidence
- Handling General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan) with PET/CT (8-10 procedures)
- Total number of readers: 130 - 175 exams (depending on ED volume)
- Additional responsibilities include approximately 25-35 CT scans, 7-10 MRI, 12-15 mammography, and 15 ultrasound procedures
- Board Certification: Not required
- Minimum Board Certification: Eligible
- Active License in VA: Yes
- EMR System: Medi Tech
- Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
- Inpatient and Outpatient Required: Yes
- Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges: Required
- Stroke Certified Facility: Yes
