A regional healthcare group in Southwest Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Sports Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for musculoskeletal conditions in a well-established outpatient setting.
Position Highlights- Outpatient sports medicine practice focused on musculoskeletal care
- Diagnose, treat, and manage conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments
- Perform comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tools and clinical assessment
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including procedures and therapies
- Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Work within a supportive regional healthcare network with strong referral relationships
- Focus on optimizing patient recovery, mobility, and performance outcomes
- MD or DO (or equivalent foreign medical degree)
- Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine required
- Active or eligible Virginia medical license
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused approach
