Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and NP or PA to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team. We serve a diverse community of patients from newborns through adulthoodproviding comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and long-term relationships.

Position Highlights:

• Patient Population:
  Newborns to 21+
• Average Patients/Day: 18-22
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Call:
  Shared among 10+ providers (weekday 5p-7a; weekend Friday 5p-Sunday 6p)
• Call limited to urgent adult issues only
• No medication refills or controlled substances management
• Average 1-10 calls per shift
• Virtual Health:
  Optional MyChart virtual visits for routine, follow-up, and acute care

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide full-spectrum primary care, including routine, acute, and wellness visits
• Manage chronic diseases and coordinate care with specialists
• Perform in-office procedures such as:
• Cryotherapy, incision & drainage, wound suturing, and management
• Optional:
  Pap smears/pelvic exams, punch biopsies, intra-articular injections
• Supported by a dedicated team of CMA/LPNs (1:2 support ratio)

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP)
• Licensure: NP license in Virginia (or eligibility)
• Certification:
  Current BLS required
• Experience:
  
  New graduates welcome; experienced providers preferred
