Location: New Canton

Virginia Community Healthcare Association is looking for a Talented Physician to join the team in Buckingham, VA. Here’s a chance to do good work, and support great communities. You’ll serve patients of all backgrounds while working alongside a team committed to improving health outcomes across the state of Virginia. This role is paying between $215,000-$ annually.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Deliver preventive care, screenings, and health education
  • Perform minor procedures and manage follow-up care
  • Refer patients to specialty care when needed
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
What Your Practice Looks Like:
  • 5-day workweek for better work-life balance (36 patient hours, 4 admin hours)
  • Mix of scheduled and walk-in visits
  • Team-based care model with strong clinical support
  • Opportunity to work across multiple sites in the region
  • Focus on quality care and community impact
Leadership & Team Support:
  • Supervise and support Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and care team staff
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment
  • Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities
What We’re Looking For:
  • MD or DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Active Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience beyond residency preferred
  • Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
  • Comfortability using EHR systems
