The facility is a large hospital providing comprehensive inpatient cardiothoracic surgical services. A dedicated team of advanced practice clinicians is on staff to ensure coordinated care for cardiothoracic surgery patients.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient cardiothoracic surgery services, with callback hours varying based on workload. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and aortic dissections, with an average of 1 to 1.5 cases per day. The clinician will collaborate with a support team of 3 to 4 APPs to ensure continuity and quality of care across the service line.

Board certification is required for this assignment.
