We are seeking a Locums Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient primary careopportunity in Franklin, Virginia. This position offers a predictable weekdayschedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.
Position Highlights- Coverage Dates:
September 21,2026 - December 18, 2026 - Schedule:
Monday-Wednesday, 8:00AM-2:00 PM - No weekends
- No call
- 10-16 patients per day
- Outpatient primary care only
- No trauma responsibilities
- EMR:
Epic
- 51% Adult
- 48% Geriatric
- 1% Pediatric
- Provide comprehensive outpatient
Family Medicine care. - Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide preventive care andhealth maintenance.
- Perform routine primary careprocedures, including Pap smears and diabetic foot exams.
- Manage diabetes, hypertension,hyperlipidemia, and other common chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostictesting as appropriate.
- Provide patient education and counseling.
- Coordinate specialty referralswhen needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.
- Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
- Active Virginia medical license required
- Current DEA
- BLS and ACLS required
