This mid-sized inpatient hospital in Virginia maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support locum tenens vascular surgery coverage. The facility operates on-site and provides the resources required to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each assigned coverage period. Weekend call coverage is structured to ensure continuity of vascular surgery services until a permanent clinician is placed.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient vascular surgery services on a schedule of 2 weekends per month, with shifts structured Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM. Clinical responsibilities encompass bread and butter vascular surgery cases in an on-site inpatient setting. Call is a required component of this assignment, and all clinical duties are performed entirely on-site. Board certification in Vascular Surgery is required for consideration.
