This correctional facility provides primary care services to adult patients in a secure clinical environment in Virginia. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and is supported by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patient population served.

Virginia offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and historical attractions suited to varied interests. The state features Shenandoah National Park with over 500 miles of hiking trails, Great Falls Park, and natural landmarks such as Luray Caverns and Natural Bridge Caverns. Additional destinations include Arlington National Cemetery, the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, and theme parks such as Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion, providing year-round recreational and cultural options throughout the state.

Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting in Virginia, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential to work four 10-hour shifts. The expected caseload is approximately 18-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing patient evaluations, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. No call coverage is required for this assignment.

Required credentials include a Virginia PA license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority; board certification is negotiable, and credentialing is estimated at two weeks.
