We are actively searching for a qualified physician to join our team and provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients.

This exciting position offers the chance to make a significant impact on patients' lives while enjoying a predictable work schedule: 7-on/7-off

Schedule:

Maintain a balanced work-life schedule with a consistent 7-day on, 7-day off rotation, starting July 15th and continuing until the position is filled. 24-Hour Coverage:
Ensure comprehensive patient care throughout your assigned week, with daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on-call responsibilities for admissions and floor calls during the evening and overnight hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Manageable Patient Load:
Focus on a manageable daily census of approximately 9-10 patients, allowing you to provide personalized care. ICU Support:
Collaborate with Pulmonologists utilizing critical care teleconsultations for patients requiring intensive care unit (ICU) level monitoring, with an average of 1-2 ICU patients on your service at any given time. Multispecialty Environment:
Coordinate care for patients requiring consultations from general surgeons, cardiologists, urologists, and pulmonologists. Procedures Preferred:
While no procedures are required, your expertise in intubations and central line placement is highly valued. Streamlined Workflow:
Utilize the familiar Meditech electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Supportive Team Environment:
Collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes. We Value Your Expertise:
We are seeking a board-certified Hospitalist who possesses a valid medical license in the state of Virginia and current certifications in ACLS and BLS. A Welcoming Community Awaits:
