- Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
- Manage a daily patient census of approximately 9-11 neonates
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
- Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff as patient acuity increases
- Develop and implement clinical protocols for neonatal care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to the growth and strategic expansion of the NICU program
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia (or eligible)
- Board certification in Neonatology
- Prior experience in a Level III NICU preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
