What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
  • Manage a daily patient census of approximately 9-11 neonates
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
  • Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff as patient acuity increases
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols for neonatal care
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Contribute to the growth and strategic expansion of the NICU program
What You Need
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia (or eligible)
  • Board certification in Neonatology
  • Prior experience in a Level III NICU preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
