Experience: Inpatient Infectious Disease care, 3+ years preferred

What You’ll Do

Provide inpatient care and manage new inpatient consults at Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg.
Evaluate and treat patients with infectious diseases, ensuring high-quality clinical care.
Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient treatment plans.
Take call for new inpatient consults, ensuring timely and effective patient management.
Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
Participate in hospital rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

What You Need
Required:

Valid Medical License in Virginia
Inpatient Infectious Disease experience or equivalent
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred:

Experience with hospital-based infectious disease management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
