What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care for adult patients
• Participate in 24-hour call shifts, supporting hospital consultations and clinic responsibilities
• Collaborate with a dedicated nursing staff at a reputable facility
• Support tele-consult services during call weeks at satellite locations
• Maintain documentation using Epic EMR system
• Provide consultations, assessments, and treatment plans tailored to adult patients
• Cover clinic responsibilities, including Friday clinics at location as scheduled

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Virginia Medical License (must have in hand before start)
• BLS certification
• DEA registration
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Clean background; no MP history

Preferred:

• Experience with inpatient and outpatient care
• Ability to handle complex hematology and oncology cases

About the Assignment
This role involves floating between two esteemed facilities, providing comprehensive hematology and oncology services to adult patients. The primary location is JMH, with additional support at SCCH, including tele-consult duties. You will work alongside a dedicated team, supporting patients through consults, evaluations, and treatment planning, ensuring exceptional patient care within a collaborative environment.
