Anesthesiologist

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their dedicated, patient-focused care team at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. This voluntary nonprofit short-term acute care hospital, part of the Riverside Health system, features 52 Medicare-certified beds and provides a full array of services and care to the community. The incoming provider will have the opportunity to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care while potentially stepping into a leadership role.

• Ophthalmology, G.I., orthopedics, urology, podiatry, general surgery, OB and occasional healthy peds

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $575K
• Sign-on incentive package:
  Up to $100K

• Schedule:
  
  1 week on, 1 week off schedule; 26 weeks off per year

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
